Full Moon Forest Bathing: Flower Moon

May 24 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

May: Flower Moon

Sink deeply into the magic of twilight and experience the wonders of nighttime in the Blue Ridge Mountains as we celebrate our local wildflowers in alignment with the Full Flower Moon.  Enjoy a peaceful evening retreat along the French Broad River with a certified nature and forest therapy guide, as the sun sets and the Flower Moon rises.

In Japan, the birthplace of forest bathing (Shinrin Yoku), they celebrate the annual bloom of the cherry blossoms (Sakura) with a practice known as Hanami. It translates to “contemplate the flowers”, a time of deepening our attention, tuning into, and enjoying the ephemeral nature of flowers. Join us as we “flower bathe”  in the golden light of the setting sun, noticing what may be blossoming around and within us.

Experience the golden hour and the beauty of dusk and moonlight like never before during this guided nature immersion, exploring a series of  invitations to quiet your mind and awaken your senses while deepening your connection with nature, community, and self.  This gentle and restorative experience is suitable for most ages and activity levels and will not exceed one mile round trip. We’ll end with a wild-foraged tea ceremony and snacks.
