Growing Warmer Season Veggies

It’s time to learn about growing warmer season veggies, controlling pests, irrigation and keeping disease at bay in our community garden beds. Featured guest Olivette Farm Manager Lauren Penner will share her deep knowledge and helpful advice about organic growing practices. Plus, she’ll answer your questions. Fellow community gardeners Greg Miller and Lynne Whitmire will offer what they’ve learned — and are still learning — about growing tomatoes and squash. We are asking for a $5 to $10 cash donation to go directly to Lauren for her time. And stay tuned for more info about farm-grown veggie starts as we get closer to the event.
