Springtime is here, and it’s finally time to reignite your love for the outdoors and get outside to play! In order to kick off one of our favorite seasons, we’re having a Fireside Meet and Greet on Friday April 12th at 6 pm. This casual get-together is an opportunity to join Arica, our events coordinator, and many of your neighbors and friends in enjoying the evening by the river. It’s also a great chance for us to hear your thoughts, ideas and suggestions for great springtime activities. What are your favorite ways to enjoy Olivette? When is the last time you had a picnic in the park? What birds have you spotted lately? Want to go on a scavenger hunt? We want all the details and hope you’ll come out to relax and chat with us.
We also have a few suggestions for activities ourselves. Are the grandkids in town and you need some ideas? Stop by one of the free libraries and check out our new activity binder. It will be stocked with ideas on how to enjoy the outdoors, scavenger hunts, and wildlife spotting logs. These binders are meant to be living community documents and we hope you’ll help enrich the community by contributing your experiences. You can also share your outdoor adventures online by tagging them with #olivettelife.
Obviously Olivette has a lot of great amenities, including our pavilion. If you’re wanting to host a small event there, just send us an Event Inquiry and we’ll get it on the calendar. All events are subject to availability and can be booked up to 2 months in advance. Soon we’ll have a community calendar online for you to look at and know in advance which days are available, but for now just contact us and we’ll find the perfect day for your event.
We hope the new activities binder will help you explore all the glorious springtime activities Olivette has to offer, and that we’ll see you on the 12th!
