On Sunday March 20th, our community welcomed Spring with our first Spring Equinox Gathering. It was an incredible community event where neighbors shared their collective knowledge. A big thank you goes out to Liz Taggart for your meaningful ceremony, Cash Econopouly, Margaret Hunter, and Ernie Showfety for your informative presentations, and to Lauren and Daniel for demonstration. Also a big thank you to our volunteers who helped set up the event. It was great to see kids painting and playing together, dogs zooming around the dog park, and neighbors gathering in the garden. We ended the event by hanging our barn quilt in the tool shed. We started the collective barn quilt painting project in 2019 at our Art In The Park event and it’s so nice to see it hanging in the community garden.
