Our Traditional Box CSA season lasts for 20 weeks, beginning mid-May and ending in November. A weekly share for 20 weeks. The CSA will take two weeks off in August to ensure a diversity of produce in the share. In the box each week will be an ever evolving cast of your favorite vegetables intermingled with new exciting varieties that perhaps you’ve yet to try. Every CSA box is valued at $33-$38 and will have 6 to 8 items per week. Our Traditional Box Share is $660. We offer payment plans; Pay half at sign up by April 15th and the remainder May 15th.
Each week during the CSA season you’ll get a weekly newsletter from us that includes what will be in your box that week, updates about what is going on at the farm and what veggies to be looking forward to. We also like to include fun facts about the season, a poem and recipes that will help to inspire what you create with you produce that week.
Community Supported Agriculture or CSA, is one of the best ways to obtain fresh seasonal vegetables, herbs and mushrooms. As a CSA member, you support local agriculture by helping farmers offset the yearly costs of seeds and supplies, and reduce the environmental impact of the long distances food travels to go from a farm to your plate. A CSA is a partnership between the farmer and its members, sharing in the risks and rewards of the growing season. We seek to promote a close relationship with our CSA family, while providing a diverse selection of high quality produce.
