HarvestFest
We are still glowing from the memories of our first annual HarvestFest. We want to extend a big thank you to our community members and the Hamlets who embraced this event, volunteered for it, donated to it and created amazing silent auction prizes! We also want to thank Chatt Hills Music, Wicked Weed, Asheville Plays, Sugar Hollow Solar, Aida Mae Soap, Oh Toy!, Paint Rock Farm, The Whitmire Family, The Oates Family, and The Kirk Family for their generous sponsor support.
Together, we were able to raise $5,400 for ASAP’s Double Snap Program. With this donation, ASAP will be able to double this amount in buying power for SNAP recipients at our local farmers markets. We also had many VIFs (very important farmers) attend and enjoy a well deserved day off! We look forward to growing this annual event for our community.
